On June 7, 2006 CECA presented its Educator Reognition Award to three teachers who have developed programs that exemplify the use of technology in their schools. Their projects will be showcased at the upcoming CECA conference on October 23, 2006.

2006 Award Recipients

Designed for use with Grades 2, 3, and 4.
J. Gregory McVerry, Woodbury Midle School in Regional School District 14

"Iron Age to the Information Age"

Designed for Grade 6.
Jeanne McDonagh, New Canaan High School

"Afghanistan Digital Photo Exchange and Exhibit"

Designed for Grades 9-12.
