CECA is happy to announce the winner of our conference logo contest. The winning entry was submitted by Erik Boornazian. At the time of his submittal Erik was an 8th grader at William J. Johnston Middle School in Colchester, CT. His computer teacher, Kathy Sasso enthusiastically submitted Erik's logo which did an excellent job of depicting the theme of this year's conference "Communicating in a Global Society". Erik will receive an Ipod Nano for his efforts! There were over 30 entries in the contest from students in grades 5 though 12 throughout Connecticut. Thank you to all who sent in a design. And thank you to all the teachers who encouraged their students to enter. Keep your eye out for future opportunities for students to demonstrate their knowledge of technology applications! |
